Two Positions Available Extended Care Aide - Perfect Afternoon Part-Time Role Located in Los Altos Hills, St. Nicholas Catholic School has been educating Transitional Kindergarten thru Eighth-grade students for over 60 years! Currently, we are in search of two part-time aides for our Extended Care Program. Up to 18 hours per week.
Bridges to Community will be collecting new children’s backpacks and $25 Target gift cards (for school supplies). The backpacks and gift cards will be given to the children of low-income families in the Alta Housing community who are enrolled in a summer reading and study group program. Alta Housing provides low- and moderate income housing for families in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.
Registration is open for 2023-24 Children's Faith Formation (Grades 1-5) and First Communion Prep programs. Classes begin September 10 at 10am at St William Hall. Register by August 1st and save $20!

Bro. Keiran Fenn of the Marist Brothers used to say that the people of God should be fed from the two tables–the table of the Word and the table of the Eucharist. And he is right. Jesus feeds the people from the table of the Word through his preaching. He also feeds their souls with words that come from his lips. "Man doesn’t live on bread alone but also on the words spoken by God."
Among the Body of Christ, there are those who, in this day and age, are persecuted for the good fruit they bear for Christ. We remember and stand with these believers who are persecuted yet remain rooted in their faith. Let us pray today for these believers who bear good fruit in some of the harshest environments.
